Happy Independence Day 2014!

Red, White and Blue Ice Creams

Red, white and blue shows up in more than America's flag for this Independence Day celebration! Homemade strawberry, vanilla, and blueberry-lemon cheesecake ice cream take center stage.

To celebrate America's Independence Day (4th of July) we created a trio of homemade ice cream flavors to cool us off. With temperatures in the high 90's, 97% humidity, and a heat index over 107 degrees F, we need something cool!

The delightful trio consists of creamy fresh strawberry, icy smooth vanilla, and flavorful blueberry-lemon cheesecake ice creams. We will be posting these recipes, as well as a tutorial on how to use an old-fashioned ice cream maker, in the next few days.

Meanwhile, please have a safe and fun holiday!
